Grove City Mayor's Court
Grove City's Mayor's Court hears misdemeanor offenses that take place in the jurisdiction of the Grove City Division of Police, with the exception of second offense driving under the influence and second offense driving under DUI suspension or FRA (Financial Responsibility) suspension and domestic violence cases are excluded from Mayor's Court jurisdiction.
Mayor's Court is in session each Wednesday. All arraignments are heard at 1 p.m. with the exception of driving under suspension and OVI's which are held at 3:30 p.m.; pre-trail cases at 3:45 p.m. and trial cases at 4:30 p.m. Other types of cases heard by the Mayor's Court include, but are not limited to assaults, zoning, and animal-related cases.

Appeal Process
If you are found guilty in the Grove Mayor's Court you have the right to appeal your case to the Franklin County Municipal court, pursuant to ORC section 1905.23. You have 10 days (including weekends) from date of conviction to file an appeal at the Franklin County Clerk of Court's office.
